The Annual Quiz is English PEN's main fundraising event of the year, raising much-needed funds to support our work defending freedom of expression and promoting literature and literacy. Attracting 400 of the UK media's top movers and shakers, famous faces and scribes, Quiz participants network, dine and compete furiously through several rounds of diverse questions. Each year a celebrity Quizmaster hosts the evening, reading out questions and keeping the crowd in check. Previous Quizmasters have included John Sergeant, John Humphreys, Clive James and Bamber Gascoigne. All the major national newspapers, publishers and literary organisations field teams for this most lively of evenings which presents a perfect marketing opportunity for your brand.
