We Are The Readers and Writers!

Thursday 25 March, 6.30pm
Venue: Free Word centre, 60 Farringdon Road, London EC1R 3GA

English PEN's literature education programme, Readers & Writers, presents a night of new voices from around the world. Launching their second hot-off-the-press book, A Letter To Some Man, six writers from the English PEN workshops at the Migrants Resource Centre in Westminster will read poems and prose, hosted by English PEN's literature education worker, Philip Cowell.

Star guests Helen Chadwick and friends will sing to help launch the book. Helen Chadwick's Dalston Songs, which recently completed a sell out run, was based on interviews with people in East London about home.

This new programme supported by the 2012 London Cultural Skills Fund celebrates London's contribution to the diversity of printed and well-crafted expression.

This free event includes a glass of wine and a free copy of A Letter To Some Man.
