[LISTEN] Jo Glanville Speaks to BBC on Press Regulation

Lord Justice Leveson will publish his Report into the culture, practices and ethics of the press on Thursday 29 November 2012. Ahead of the report, English PEN’s Director Jo Glanville appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live programme Doubletake on Sunday 25th November, to discuss the issue of press regulation. 

During the discussion, Jo expressed concern that stautory underpinning of the press is actually a form ‘press licensing’ that would interfere with the right to free expression.  She also questioned the NUJ position on press regulation.
