Vacancy: Freelance Programme Co-ordinator, Turkey Programme
English PEN is seeking a Freelance Programme Co-ordinator to work on our Turkey Programme, in particular our respite residencies for writers from Turkey, between September 2022 and March 2023.
The Freelance Programme Co-ordinator will need to have experience of supporting or coordinating artist residences or similar. They will also need to be fluent in Turkish. Please note, this freelance opportunity is only available to current UK residents with a legal right to work in the UK.
Turkey has long been a focus of PEN’s work internationally. We have published expert reports; hosted respite residencies for writers from Turkey in the UK; campaigned for writers imprisoned and at risk in Turkey; and provided practical support to writers in need, including through the provision of emergency funds.
There will be approximately 40 days’ work between September 2022 and March 2023, paid at £200 per day.
