They emerged, a flashmob from the shadows,
growing in number every time our backs
were turned. They lost their accents, learned
Estuarine, upskilled. Now they hide in plain sight,
gatekeepers for nonformation and antifacts,
contriving fallacies like sausages, blamestorming
on twitter streams, duking it out with liberals,
wearing their avatars like chainmail, holding forth
on middle-class moralysis, how the past
is the new future. Welcome to the Darwikian age;
government by crowd-sourcing, the bloc
that can’t be stopped, genned up and ready to rock.
