Brave New Voices – learning resources and animations

In 2013, English PEN developed the pilot of a translator-led programme that offers creative writing skills to multilingual young people from refugee and asylum seeking backgrounds living in deprived areas, funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

The project resulted in this series of videos and learning resources which feature prominent translators and free speech campaigners. Together they encapsulate some of the ideas and questions raised by young people during the project Brave New Voices.
