English PEN will cease posting on Twitter/X from 27 February 2025, together with many other PEN centres. 

As one of the world’s oldest free speech organisations, this decision reflects our commitment to fostering conversation in spaces that uphold our values of freedom and equity of expression, in line with the PEN Charter. Unfortunately, Twitter/X is no longer the right place for us. 

We invite you all to stay connected with us on the platforms below, where you can continue to follow our campaigns and events. Thank you to everyone who has engaged with us so far. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you on other platforms soon.
