Atef Abu Saif, editor of PEN award-winning anthology The Book of Gaza (Comma Press, 2014), is the author of The Drone Eats With Me: Diaries from a City Under Fire. Here, he tells the story of how this new collection came to be, and how the Gazan cultural scene is thriving – in spite of the backdrop of ongoing conflict.
