PEN is proud to publish three short stories by imprisoned writer and filmmaker Oleg Sentsov, translated by Dr Uilleam Blacker.
Prominent Ukrainian writer and filmmaker Oleg Sentsov was sentenced to 20 years in prison in August 2015 on terrorism charges after a grossly unfair trial by a Russian military court, marred by allegations of torture. He has been on hunger strike since 14 May 2018 to urge the Russian authorities to release all Ukrainians unfairly imprisoned in Russia.
