Translation and International Literature Manager

An exciting opportunity has come up to join the small dynamic English PEN as our lead on translation and international writing. English PEN is the founding member of an international network of writers’ organisations defending freedom of expression and promoting literature across frontiers. You will be our expert on literature in translation and work with a network of partner organisations to promote international writing and support translators and publishers. You will administrate our grants scheme, PEN Translates, which received funding from Arts Council of England.
You will have creative flair and a strong knowledge of international literature and translation. You’ll have experience of building audiences live and online and have excellent communication skills, using them across a variety pf platforms and with a range of stakeholders. Experienced at planning a programme of work, you will also have excellent attention to detail.
