PEN Promotes open for submissions

English PEN is pleased to announce that the PEN Promotes grants programme is now open for submissions. Grants are available to assist UK publishers with promoting and marketing books being published for the first time in English translation.

This is a particularly special round, as all visiting authors and events taking place next year will be part of the tenth anniversary of the Writers in Translation programme, so we’re looking for a set of outstanding books and events to celebrate in 2015. All PEN supported titles are featured on our World Bookshelf, which is run in partnership with Foyles.

This round of submissions is for books scheduled to be published in the second half of 2015, between 1st July and the 31st December 2015.

The deadline for applications is Friday 13 February 2015.

How to apply

For more information on how to apply to the programme and to download our application form please visit the PEN Promotes grants page. If you have any queries, please contact [email protected].
