Moris Farhi

Many members and friends came to Lancaster House last Tuesday to hear Moris Farhi in conversation with Richard McKane. As well as taking questions on and reading passages from his latest book Young Turk, there was an open discussion which touched on the ethnic and cultural past and present of Turkey, the role of intellectuals in Turkish history, the Kurdish question and the varying levels of Turkish freedom of expression over the years.
