
English PEN and the Society of Authors to host an evening with author, historian and biographer Antonia Fraser at The British Library, in celebration of her 90th birthday.
Antonia Fraser will appear in conversation with the Guardian’s Claire Armitstead to discuss her life and work, including her experiences in literary London, her multiple award-winning works, her marriage to playwright Harold Pinter and her huge support of authors and author organisations.
The event will take place at The British Library on Wednesday 21 September at 7pm. The evening will include an opportunity for audience questions and close with a drinks reception.
Antonia Fraser is the author of many widely acclaimed historical works, which have been international bestsellers. She was awarded the Medlicott Medal by the Historical Association in 2000 and was made a DBE in 2011 for services to literature.
