READ: Brave New Voices anthology ‘The Future House’

On 3 July 2018 English PEN was delighted to launch The Future House, an anthology of poetry written by the participants in our Brave New Voices 2.0 workshops.

Brave New Voices is a three year outreach project for young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds. Participants meet regularly with an established poet to produce new creative writing. This year the workshops were led by Dzifa Benson, Kat Lewis, Aves Mohammed and Simon Mole. Participants were drawn from our partner organisations: British Red Cross, Capital City Academy, Migrants Organise and Queens Park Community School.

English PEN is extremely grateful to our fantastic project manager Rosemary Harris, ourĀ  tireless and committed partners Salusbury World, and to our funders: the John Lyon’s Charity, the Limbourne Trust and AB Charitable Trust.
