Rates

The Translators Association recommends minimum rates of renumeration.  Currently, these are:

£90 per 1,000 words for prose

£1 per line for poetry

Qualifications

The Institute of Linguists Edudational Trust is an awarding body which offers vocationally related qualifications in a wide variety of languages from ‘A’ Level to post-graduate equivalent.  Find out more here
